Why Is Medium Still Used By Cam Roze?

Believe it or not I use Medium because I like the idea of helping support a place that is centered around being an advertisement free platform. Thus people pay the monthly memberships to be present on there.

So Then What Is In It For An Author?

Well, in my case I get to attract a new section of audience here and all over my many link pages. For example here is one. Now, with that being done it helps me achieve a higher SEO. What is SEO? It is a Short form for Search Engine Optimization. So, what that means is you can anchor your website and others you are on by linking them together. The more common they are used and most relatable to the search, the more likely it is to appear on the first five pages (which is alot of time to go through Google). Now that actually gains alot of traffic. But remember to use long form keywords on your website. That also helps. Medium is one of those platforms that weighs in alot on the search engines algorithm for some reason.

So Then Why Do Affiliate Marketers Use Medium?

That's actually a brilliant question and I didn't realize it until about eight months of trying to do affiliate marketing in a very click-funnel-esque way. That was a jumble of a word. So, when you follow an author on medium you tend to want to know what exactly they are posting. If you check their profile for missed posts, you may notice their link and click it. That happens very rare but enough to start having leads for sales. Who knows what it may be they have, but it may just be something you want. Some people want to earn money sharing links.

So In The End...

Medium is a great way to help others, support an advertising free platform, get paid for being a writer and much more.
